As the title so eloquently notes, Commissioned turned two years old today and I am so happy to be spreading the word of God for two years on my own digital platform. Commissioned was birthed from a calling God gave me on June 30th 2019. I launched Commissioned that first year on November 1 2019 and its one of the best things that I have ever done aside from accepting Christ as my savior. Commissioned started off as just reuniting believers together into a home once a month to share our goals, purpose, with biblical discussions that focused on the plans that God has for us through activities such as creating vision boards for the year 2020 (I wish we could have predicted what was to come, but God knew), a pajama party where we got to exchange gifts and watched God move supernaturally, and an event where we talked about what it meant to encounter God. Later, we began to pray together every Wednesday on a prayer line and would soon move it to zoom--which replaced in person meetings due to covid. A lot of things happened in my life around that time so the zoom meetings had to take a pause but I did instead launch a tiktok, changed the name to Commissoned4Jesus and and here we are! I have been so preoccupied with work that I almost forgot that today was the two year anniversary.
In order to commemorate such a special day, I went and brought a cake, flowers, some balloons, and took pictures. I wish I could've had a huge gathering but in due time... for now, I will say that commissioned is going to have a lot of new things coming for 2022 such as new t-shirts, relaunch gathering, worship night, and if the Lord permits, monthly gatherings again. I am excited for what's to come because I know that this ministry is definitely going places. Who knows, but in the near future, we may have a commissioned office in Haiti! Stay tuned for what's to come.
*Be encouraged in this season, I know there is so much going on but God is still on the throne and as long as there is breath in your body, there is still so much left for you to accomplish so don't get discouraged when the storms come but know that you have an anchor that is unmovable. He will see you through:)
